Job OverviewThe Senior Data Scientist will lead efforts to leverage advanced data analytics, machinelearning, and statistical modeling techniques to solve complex business challenges and drivedata-driven decision-making across the organization. As a senior team member, you will mentorjunior data scientists, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop solutions that have ahigh impact on the business strategy, product innovation, customer experience, and operationalefficiency.Key Responsibilities1. Advanced Analytics &amp; Machine Learning○ Lead the development and implementation of advanced predictive models,machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to improve businessoutcomes such as customer acquisition, product recommendations, demandforecasting, and operational efficiencies.○ Design, prototype, and validate models using various techniques includingsupervised and unsupervised learning, time series forecasting, clustering, anddeep learning.○ Drive the integration of machine learning models into production systems incollaboration with data engineering and IT teams.2. Strategic Data Insights○ Translate complex data into actionable business insights that inform strategicdecisions across departments like marketing, finance, operations, and productdevelopment.○ Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, customer behaviors, andopportunities for growth.○ Present and communicate findings effectively to senior leadership andnon-technical stakeholders.3. Mentorship &amp; Leadership○ Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, providing guidance on projects, bestpractices, and professional development.○ Lead cross-functional project teams, setting direction, managing timelines, andensuring successful project outcomes.○ Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the data scienceteam.4. Collaboration with Business Units○ Partner with key stakeholders across the business to identify high-impactdata-driven opportunities and develop tailored solutions.○ Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other teams to define projectrequirements and deliver measurable business outcomes.○ Work with the analytics team to establish clear KPIs and data-driven strategiesfor growth.5. Data Governance &amp; Infrastructure○ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality through proper governance practicesand infrastructure development in collaboration with the IT and data engineeringteams.○ Develop scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support large-scale dataprocessing and model deployment.○ Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science tools and techniques,integrating cutting-edge methodologies into the organization’s data strategy.6. Innovation &amp; Thought Leadership○ Identify and experiment with new tools, technologies, and methodologies toadvance the company's analytics capabilities.○ Contribute to data science best practices, staying at the forefront of industrytrends and innovations.○ Represent the organization at industry conferences and forums, sharing insightsand strategies related to data science and machine learning.Required Qualifications1. Education○ Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering,Applied Mathematics, or a related field.○ Advanced certifications in Data Science, Machine Learning, or ArtificialIntelligence are preferred.2. Experience○ 5-7 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a proven track record of buildingand deploying machine learning models that drive business value.○ Experience in leading large-scale data science projects from ideation throughexecution and deployment.○ Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and deep learning frameworks(e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).3. Technical Skills○ Expert-level proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for dataanalysis and model development.○ Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience in working with large-scaledatabases.○ Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) fordeploying machine learning models and managing large datasets.○ Hands-on experience with advanced analytics tools and libraries (e.g., Pandas,Numpy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, XGBoost).○ Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or D3.js.4.
